John Lofgren Bootmaker Montagna Hiking Boots are built for both mountain and urban exploration. The design is based on a vintage 1930s-50s pair of mountaineering boots that was purchased in England. The leather and build of the originals were reminiscent of work done by Robert Lawrie, the famous British bootmaker, alpine and polar equipment specialist (and race car driver!). We're confident Mr. Lawrie would approve of these boots. All John Lofgren Bootmaker footwear is built by highly skilled craftsmen and women in Japan.
