Every Christmas season, John Lofgren Bootmaker offers a special limited-edition boot available only by pre-order for a short time. Once the season ends, that design is retired, often permanently. This tradition has made our Christmas Editions especially sought after, offering a rare opportunity to own a truly distinctive makeup. For 2026, we are proud to present the Donkey Puncher Boots in Horween Chromexcel Natural Roughout x Dark Olive.

Named after the men who operated the Steam Donkey in the logging industry around the turn of the century, the Donkey Puncher Boots draw inspiration from a demanding world of hard work and durable footwear. Developed through an exhaustive process of design, refinement, and sample building, they reflect the highest standard of Made in Japan: exacting craftsmanship, exceptional construction, and an unwavering dedication to quality.

Because our special-edition boots cannot be canceled or exchanged for a different size, we recommend ordering only if you already own the same style and know your correct size. Boots and shoes from our regular lineup may be exchanged if the size is not right, but that service cannot be extended to special-edition releases.

• International orders under $150 will be $30. Orders over $150 will be $60.
