John Lofgren Bootmaker Special Edition "Glover Brogues" in Shinki Hikaku Shell Cordovan. Our Glover Brogues are a nod to the original shoe that started life in the highlands of Scotland and Ireland. Traditionally seen as a country shoe and designed with brogueing (punched holes), to allow drainage of water from working the fields or trekking in the boglands. In the USA they're commonly known as "wingtips." These days brogues are perfectly acceptable in business meetings, evenings out and everything in-between. Our Glover Brogues are made in Japan and exhibit the finest, painstaking attention to detail by master craftsmen and women.
