How much does it cost to ship to my country?
International orders under 20,000 JPY (approx. $190.00) will be 2,000 JPY (approx. $19.00). Orders over 20,000 JPY will be 7,000 JPY (approx. $67.00). All orders shipped within Japan are free.
Custom Order Terms & Conditions
All products marked on the website as Pre-Order, Special Order and Made To Order are considered a custom order. Production time on custom orders range from 8 to 16 weeks. The production time may vary due to production capacity and material availability. We'll notify you of any significant delays in the production of your custom order. Once your custom order is processed and production begins orders cannot be canceled or altered. And because custom order items are built specifically for the customer, once your order is received it cannot be returned or exchanged. We encourage customers to only purchase custom orders after they are familiar with the John Lofgren Bootmaker brand and know what size works best for them.
What if I ordered the wrong size?We want you to love your boots, and we totally understand ordering footwear online can be tricky, so we offer a one-time free shipping for size exchanges on any of our regular lineups. If you find your boots or shoes don't fit you perfectly, you can simply send them back for a different size and we'll pay the shipping costs both ways. All you need to do is to take care that the boots or shoes and packaging are returned in the same condition as you received them.
How will you be shipping the product to me?
We use DHL and Japan Post EMS for worldwide shipping. Delivery time is usually between 3 to 7 days only. All shipments include 100% insurance coverage and a tracking number.
What if I need to return or exchange a purchase?
We're happy to accept returns of unworn, mint condition John Lofgren boots and shoes from our regular lineup purchased on www.johnlofgren.com within 15 days of receipt. We recommend trying footwear on over carpet to keep the soles and heels in mint condition. Please note that shipping costs are not refunded. Please contact us at Hello@johnlofgren.com for shipping directions before returning product.
What if I didn't purchase my John Lofgren boots or shoes from www.johnlofgren.com?
If you purchased any John Lofgren Bootmaker products at one of our retail partners or www.johnlofgren.eu, please contact them directly regarding their exchange and return policy.

Do I have to pay sales tax and/or import duty?
Products leaving Japan are not required to pay sales tax. Products entering a foreign country might be subject to import duties as determined by customs in the destination country. Check with your local customs office to see if you are subject to additional fees.
